The students learned about forces and Newton’s 3 Laws of Motion last week. We watched videos of the old “table cloth trick” where the man pulls out the table cloth without moving the dishes. Then they tried their own version in class with a penny lab. This video is from a student impressing her family, and her dog, at home with the same concept.
Newton’s Law of Inertia: “An object at rest tends to stay at rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion, until an outside force acts upon it.”
